So, has anyone decided to take up the challenge in Handwoven and make an LOTR cloak to send them a picture of for their gallery? I would like to, but of course I want to use handspun, and I don't know if I can get it done by the deadline. I washed the fleece I wanted to use for the warp, but it seems to be quite cotted <grrrrr> It's a natural black with age-graying, so it comes out a very nice darkish gray. I was planning to overdye parts in various shades of green and mix them all in the warp yarns.
