Hi, The eylash scarves were popular in the early 90's. I knit them for craft shows and fellow workers at Boeing when I was there. One thing I did to stretch the eyelash as it is a little on the expensive side, was to run a second thread of metalic along with the eyelash. I knit both of them at the same time, using size 15 needles. I picked up the metalic on cones at knitting machine shops. Jr High kids will like glitzy things. Have fun. Gail White
