Thanks, Gail.  I was afraid that would be the answer.  Unfortunately, I
can't go back to the seller on this, it was a couple years ago and I didn't
get around to using it until now.  I'll have to go through the whole batch,
hopefully there is some that can be used.  This was put up in roving balls,
I would think that would be professionally done, I'm surprised a processor
would handle this stuff.

That purchase also included a lot of wool roving.  That stuff is so
dirty/dusty that I have to wash it before I can use it, but it is useable.
I had intended for both these rovings to be used in rugs, not for spinning,
so I wasn't too upset about the dirt.

I'll just use the junky mohair for some experimenting with the rugweaving.
I want to try some dyeing and felting ideas that I wouldn't want to do with
good, expensive fiber.
