Hi Fibernetters,

Just to let you know, I'm going to list a Saxony style Drudick wheel
on E-Bay this week sometime. This wheel is no
longer produced by Mangus. The wheel is number 12, made out of
Cherry. It has four bobbins and is in excellent
condition. It comes with a set of little wheels that attach to the
wheel that makes it easy to pull behind you when you're using
it at a guild meeting, etc. I don't use this wheel and it's a shame
to have it sitting on a shelf in my home. (We have high ceilings)
I have a Castle style wheel made by Mangus that I use all the time.
His wheels are a dream to spin on and a beautiful piece of
furniture for your home.

The cherry tree this wheel is made from was blown down in a Portland
ice storm in the early 80's. Mangus cut up the
wood and seasoned it in his home for over two years before makeing
the wheel. He made his wife, myself and another lady
identical wheels out of this tree.
