Bobbie, You're not alone - I have real problems finding anything in a fiber related magazine that takes me more than 10 or 15 minutes to read "carefully" cover to cover, including classifieds. Seems to be part of the culture - if you keep folks at the simplest level and don't let them progress, they'll take lots of classes, buy lots of "kits" and stay dependent on the simplistic info longer - providing revenue for the folks connected with the publication.
