Happy Birthday to Fibernet. I was at the Abbotsford Fibre Fest in BC
April 15-16 doing rug hooking with handspun, figuring out how to fold a
V and listening to a wonderful seminar on Natural Dyeing. Also picking
up a book or two and a bit of yarn and fibre. Next weekend was at the
Fuzzy Bunz Fiber Fest in Colville, WA and this time was teaching
spinning of Novelty Yarns and giving a basic wet felting demonstration.
I now hope I have a chance to use some new techniques and polish up my
old ones. I also, in March, took a Rug Weaving workshop with Jason
Collingwood in Arizona. I definitely need some down time at home.
The sun is bright, Tshirt weather and lots of healthy dandelions are in
my garden. So much to do, and not enough hours, but I would not like it
otherwise.
