And I joined a couple of years later. It was what finally motivated me
to get dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 20th century (and now
it's the 21st--I ain't going there).

I've been going 12 ways from Sunday--full time graduate school, teaching
60 students, working part-time at a museum. A close friend passed away
unexpectedly, and I am his executor (when I agreed to it I didn't think
I'd actually have to do it) and his crazy sister keeps trying to block
everything so I'm dealing with that. And lots of special exhibits and
programs at school and the museum that I have to work with--well, you get
the idea.

Not much spinning or weaving in my world at the moment!

But it's odd how hobbies pay off. I took a Color Theory class this term.
The rest of the class struggled, and I just breezed through.
Heck--anyone who's been dyeing her own yarn for 20 years *knows* how
color works! All I had to do was learn the scientific terms.

But this term is almost over, and I have a week before the next one
begins, and I ABSOLUTELY VOW to get something on the loom (after the
scarf that has been on there for 6 weeks gets finished.
