I better answer 'cause I'm in NZ..........and my answer is *no* sorry.........we tend to use the wheels that were/are manufactured either from the big name brands like Ashford or Majacraft or from wheels that are manufactured in our own island. I'm in the North and Baynes are in the South
Has anyone tried a Baynes wheel from New Zealand?
or like me try to use the unusual wheels. I have a dear wheel that I've fallen in love with a 1945 manufactured by Returned Servicemen in Hamilton after WW2. I acquired it some years ago didn't know it's origin until a Guild member who helped out a local Museum handed around some pictures one night......"did anyone know these wheels?" and I said "can I look?" "well you won't know them"..........."ohhhhhhhh but I have one of those" "no couldn't possibly have one!" soooooooooo the next week I got it in the car and took it. Apparently it was ONE! but no apologies finally I got email about it. It spins like a dream unfortunately only one bobbin and nothing else will fit of course. I've advertised on our local email list for some ??
