I'll be judging fleeces and then teaching 2 workshops on Saturday. ============ Workshops ========================= These will be whirlwind workshops so be prepared for a lot of activity! Some may be demo if we run out of time. Just Dyeing for Color: Dye Safety, Fleece: raw, washed, gray and white, and white top/roving, painting and rainbow dye, white yarn, and silk top, Color theory. We'll use one-step dyes and food dyes. Spinning for Color: Rainbow rovings (many, many ways to spin). Striped tops: strips, from the fold, from the end. Carding fiber and silk threads into fleece. Wrapping on singles, tufted yarns. Rainbow Boucle, and anything else we have time for! I will provide extensive handouts that will cover all the topics, in case we run out of time.
