Had several responses to my query about my squeaking Lendrum, but since I am on digest, it's harder for me to reply to individual messages. I do thank those who took the time to write with their experiences. Nothing jumped out at me, so I'll just keep on as I have been doing - oiling all the movable surfaces, and being sure to clean up excess oil. One comment, though, was about humidity possibly causing it - not the case for me. I live in eastern California's high desert, where we are lucky to get 50% humidity. Excess dryness, now -- that's a whole other question.
