I will dito the remark about not being a doctor and this not being
any diagnosis of any sort , etc. etc.

That said, I have been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
along with an herb course that I'm doing. In TCM the skin and liver
are directly connected. The liver is one of our major cleansing
organs. Modern living exposes us to MANY toxins in our food, air and
the drugs we may take. The liver gets very overloaded and "toxic"
which often results in different skin problems. I have suffered off
and on over the last 15+ years with chronic hives. After trying
many, many things (including western medicine) the only thing that
has helped me has been changing my diet, working on "cleansing" my
liver and acupuncture. There are very few places left on earth where
we are NOT exposed to toxins and I feel that it is very important to
do what we can for ourselves to stay healthy, i.e., eat good,
organic, locally grown food and take as few drugs as possible. (Not
to mention working with and wearing natural fibers <G>))

My 2 cents worth.
