I've been curious to try Finnsheep. It sounds similar
to Corriedale.
Um, nope. Not even close. Corriedale is a dense, medium wool with low
luster. Finn is an open, high luster medium wool that feels like a fine
wool. I enjoy spinning both but they are very different. In fact, I
like the Finns so well that I bought some to have the fleeces. Sadly, I
had to lighten the load here so had to sell them but I miss the fleeces
sorely. I only have one Finn/Lincoln ewe left.
