I've had some beautiful Montendale fleeces through the mill. Not many,
though as most of the producers don't sell the wool to handspinners, but to
the wool pools. It is a medium micron fleece, about 4.5 to 5 inches long
and processces beautifully. It is very similar to my Targhees, but not
quite as bouncy.  Tunis is another overlooked dual purpose breed. The
fleece is similar to the Montendale. Fine, crimpy and a pleasure to work
