I've had some beautiful Montendale fleeces through the mill. Not many, though as most of the producers don't sell the wool to handspinners, but to the wool pools. It is a medium micron fleece, about 4.5 to 5 inches long and processces beautifully. It is very similar to my Targhees, but not quite as bouncy. Tunis is another overlooked dual purpose breed. The fleece is similar to the Montendale. Fine, crimpy and a pleasure to work with. Gail White
