Does the bucket have to be food grade? My house is being painted, so
there's four 5-gallon buckets. And, I buy my laundry detergent in
5-gallon buckets. I'm dying wool, not eating it.

Ask around if you know any horse people too. A lot of the wormers and
horse
treats come in big plastic buckets. I've always got a few to share
around.
And people who feed birds sometimes get the seeds in big buckets.
BBQ restaurants are also sometimes good sources - for both buckets and
pickle jars.
