Hi Fibernetters,

Here is a New Year's present to all. A person on the sheep-L list has found out a way to not send HTML and other "messy" text to mailing lists. Here is her solution for version 9.0 of AOL's mail software.

I have found the "switch" to turn off the HTML. The "switch" on AOL
9.0 is not on any of the toolbars or drop down menus, so it is rather
well-disguised. However, to turn off the HTML, one needs to right click on the message
portion of the email being sent....the bottom selection says "compose as
plain text"...that's it! Now, if I can only remember to do that before sending
posts to the list!!!

Please send mail to FiberNet if this works for you.

Ron
