I'm having the very devil of a time getting some dye to set - stop crocking or
bleeding. The fiber was unsatisfactorily dyed with madder, spun and then dyed
with an acid dye. I rinsed and rinsed, soaked in detergent and vinegar
solution - it still bleeds onto my hands as I knit with it. Any and all
suggestions will be appreciated. Do you think the madder has anything to do
with this problem - am I just sunk?
Anita in warm (for us) but we have snow NH, USA
