Hi Anita,

I've been following your thread. After you've let the yarn cool down, wash
it again in hot water with a little detergent. I find that those two
combinations will cause any remaining dye to come out. Don't have it happen
in warm water with not soap. I find turquoise and reds need more vinegar or
citric acid than the mfgs usually call for. Gail White

warm water and detergent for 30 min. Now it's in the dye pot with white
vinegar simmering and there doesn't seem to be any color bleeding out. Do
you think that means I've finally got the stuff to stop bleeding or is the
solution not doing anything? Man - how do I get into these messes? This
was Landscapes dye no vinegar needed - I usually use G & K washfast - and
will from now on, for sure.
