What I do is when it's plied - I check which way it's going and then
twist it the other way and leave it until I'm ready to wash it etc -
preferably the next day. It usually does the trick.
I think one of the things you have to continually do if it's going
off in another direction is to keep practicing spinning - small
skeins until you have it to your satisfaction. Of course having it
twist anywhere could lead you down an interesting path with whatever
you are doing with your finished skein
