The Hatbox wheel is a Louet S40. You could contact Trudy at the Louet distributors and get some information on it. I would like to have one just because it is unique. I of course have enough wheels and now because of illness usually use my electric, but I have a wheel addiction and Need one more.:)
I raised Romney sheep and Angora goats which are also great for spinning. They got along well and both were great for spinning. The kids would hop on the wide backs of the Romneys and do a little sheep surfing. A little hard on the fleece, but they sure were cute.
