A local person breeds an angora buck to a cashmere doe every year ... it is more laziness than anything else - neither animal is breeding quality ... anyway that is an entirely different topic! But the resulting babies seem to have fleeces that differ depending on the animal. Some lean more toward the angora and some seem to lean more toward the cashmere. I know of one of them who is sports a very lovely fleece each year (almost silk-like) - but others that definitely have a so-so fleece not worth the effort.
