My First Fleece was one my mentor and the founder of our Guild ordered
for me from Annie Blinks, it was very clean "in grease", I have no idea
what breed of sheep.
I am a person who worked with Fabric (costumes) at night and clothed
my six kids during the day. Dry Hands galore. Working with that
fleece in the grease was heaven, my hands were very happy.
Now one of my favorites is Polworth.
I spin a lot of Polworth on a drop spindles while entertaining people
in Dr. offices or where ever you have to wait. Merino & Tencel blend
is another.
You name it I have Spun it, although my efforts with cotton leave a lot be
desired.
What do I do with it ? I never spin for a project I spin for enjoyment.
Weaving and Knitting although I need to do a lot more , I have a lot of
Skeins looking at me after 36 years of spinning.
