All nicely carded and loosely stacked in one of those plastic boxes with > the
double folding lids. Hmmm, makes one start to think it could be the fineness
of the fiber? Either just because it is so fine it finds a way to felt on
it's own? I can't think of anything doing this to me, yet, other than the
angora that may not have been purged of mites before clipping. Of course,
wool mites adore the really fine wool of the angora. I don't think they can
survive on sheep for the lanolin, so that may be while sheep don't have a
problem with them. I have heard of moths infesting a box, and choosing one
fiber over the other, and the one they chose was the finest stuff. The not so
fine fibers where effected at all. Weird stuff. The minds of bugs may never
be totally understood, lol.
