About that angora felting in storage. It could be simply mechanical. Angora is a lovely fine fiber that really likes to felt. If there is any temperature or humidity change at all, then the fibers are going to move just a little bit. But that tiny amount is enough to get them to start grabbing onto each other. So your batting or roving "tightens up" and gets harder to draft.

Ann, in hot sticky florida where darn near anything will felt on its own
