I was given 16/2 unmercerized cotton for a shawl from Handwoven that I want to try. Unfortunately, the colours are little light and dull for my liking. I am thinking of overdyeing, but have only done this with wool. Any suggestions on dyes, size of skein, etc. would be appreciated. Thank you.
