I know I've been mighty quiet for awhile, but our lives have taken a
different tack since my husband retired. Due to the death of our
last remaining parent - his dad at age 86 - and a couple of divorces
in the family, there has been an inordinate amount of cleaning out,
packing up, furniture moving, etc, in our lives for what seems like
an eternity, but is in actuality about a year. Couple that with our
own project of getting our "real" house ready to move back into
(we've been living 60 miles away to be closer to our jobs), and there
hasn't been much time for keeping up with email lists. I do read
them - and enjoy them - but as for contributing, I just haven't had the energy.

After too much information for most of you, I'll come to the subject
of this post. When we finally are able to make our big move, we'll
be changing internet providers yet again. We have one lined up which
offers high speed wireless for our remote area, which is
great. However, they don't offer webspace as part of the package (I
could pay extra), so I've been evaluating how much I actually use my
webpage, and whether I will just let it lapse. I haven't kept it up
very well, and there really isn't anything that is original except my
crockpot dyeing instructions. I'm willing to give the files to the
fiber community if someone wants them - my one caveat is to keep them
freely available to anyone who wants to access them. Here's the
current url if you want to look them
over: http://myweb.cebridge.net/stansifer/sierraspun/crockintro.htm

Please contact me privately if you'd like to host these files, and my
apologies to Ron and Lois for the slightly off-topic cross-post.
