Thanks, Ann, for being on top of this.  Several of the other lists I 
belong to have been subject to the "grouply-virus" (for want of a better 
term, even though it's not technically a virus), and the moderators have 
resorted to the same tactic you describe here.  I just wanted to 
reinforce your message and tell our members not to deal with these 
people at all.
