Hi FiberNetters. Here is a progress report about the Grouply potential problem. First Susanne and I studied the FiberNet membership history, and found two subscribers who had unusual past activity as well as using a Grouply email address at one time. We removed those persons as FiberNet subscribers. we also placed FiberNet on a Grouply prohibited status meaning that Fibernet messages and other information will not be included in Grouply's mailings to it's users.
The problem is being tracked, and you Fibernetters will be kept informed of any new information. For now there seems to be no problem. We thank the FiberNetters who helped us with attacking this potential privacy/security problem. Ron Parker - Fibernet list mom with Susanne [EMAIL PROTECTED]
