Trying to update the colors on a friend's website, I stumbled across this handy little tool: <http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html>
Put in a color, any color, that you know the RGB or hex value of, or click on a color in the swatch at the bottom of the page. The color picker will give you a group of colors that works well with the one you chose. I find it's a little heavy on value--likes to choose colors that are mostly close to the value of your original color--but otherwise a LOT of fun. But I couldn't change my friend's mind about what to use on her website :) Holly who planned last night three secondary modulations to dye on 8 ounces of fiber for an exchange with another guild
