I watched Cat Bordhi demonstrate a mobius cowl scarf on the Knitty Gritty program and decided to try making one. I made mine larger since I am larger. It was an fun project to knit, but I don't think I'll make more of them. She demonstrated the mobius cast on which turned out to be easy enough so I grabbed my yarn and started to cast on. She did an easy lace pattern so I used it also but I added enough stitches for 2 extra repeats to make it larger. It was fascinating since you knit from the center out working each side at the same time. If you don't use a reversible pattern, which the one she demonstrated isn't, each side has half knit stitches and the other half is purl and I'm not talking about the front side and back side, but half and half on the same side. I put a photo on our fibernet photo page.
