Nancy, Yiddish can be written in Hebrew letters , but iit can also be 
written in Latinn letters [ which than confuses German readers who think 
there are many Typos.
Ps for those who are interested There is a Spanins Equivalent names 
`Ladino` which is a combination of Spanish and Hebrew.

Babske = Old fashioned [ something Grandmotherly]
Babashy = granny something a loving name for the GM

Scarf in Russian is Sharf, in Yiddish halstuch , as in German halstuch .
