Grace, I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree about Ryder's work. The things you say he says aren't in my copy of the book :)
And the things I express as personal experience--like the eash of plucking undercoat from a shedding goat--you dismiss as not true. I can't convince you, but I hope that others will read the book with an open mind and see its immense worth to people who love wool and sheep. Holly
