Holly,

Thank you SO much for your as-usual detailed and informative help! I feel
much more confident about tackling this warp knowing that you've done this
and with your suggestions. :-)

Actually, I'd like to also thank you publicly for your tips on plying and
using a magnifying glass to ensure that the fiber lines up straight with the
yarn for a balanced ply. Not that I want to give the impression that I keep
projects sitting around for ages and ages (I do, of course, but one wouldn't
want to let that out!), but this weekend I also plied some lovely variegated
blue merino that had been spun ages ago. The singles were therefore quite
"set" in their ways, and if I'd plied to get an apparently-balanced yarn, I
think once washed it would have been a mess. So thanks for that too, Holly
- it was a tip I learned from you years ago on this list and have used ever
since!

Okay, back to writing the handout for the presentation I'm giving later this
week. (Too bad; I'd much prefer to go rewind that warp!)
