Wow! Holly, this is an amazingly detailed and really clear post. I can hardly wait to finish weaving what I've got on the loom now so I can try this. I have always warped front-to-back, never really saw a reason to warp back-to-front, and boy have you convinced me that it would be easier.
That post you wrote about re-warping a problem warp was for me, by the way. J It worked beautifully, and then the Renaissance Faire season started and I have been only admiring the warp on the loom, since I've had no time to actually sit down and do any weaving.
