Do tell us more than just that it took you 6 months to weave :) How many napkins did you weave? What was the fiber, weave structure, sett? I've been thinking about doing a largish sett in fairly dark colors. I have a bunch that are mostly white, and some that are light colors, but folks are always reluctant to use them, even the whites when I tell them I can bleach 'em :) I do have one dishtowel that's mostly darkish colors, and it *is* nice to use one that I don't have to worry will look grungey after a few washings. But my next project is going to be a double weave warp. I'm going to make 2 tool holders, one for each loom, and try double-weave pick-up for the first time. Also probably a couple of bags, woven tubular, and put on a little extra for maybe a pick-up table runner. One side will be shades of yellow through pink, mostly peaches, the other maybe a soft green, all 8/2 cotton. Weft will probably be unbleached. Or maybe I'll put on the bath towel and hair towel warp I've been thinking about for a long time...that would be easy and fast! So many projects, so little time! Holly
