OK guys, I know that the guitar did not sweep and think that the "sweeping" line was a throw away to rhyme with sleeping. the song is not about artistic feelings as best I can tell. It is kind of an angst song, a list of random thoughts, maybe about the Beatles fighting amongst themselves prior to breakup sort of vaguely stated as a broken hearted love song, as the Beatles would do.
Harrison was not a wordsmith; the words just remind me of his great guitar playing. Lennon was the wordsmith. He wrote of thoughts flying around in his head like "a restless wind inside a letter box." Nancy
