Hi June I sympathize! Just had this happen myself, with 100% angora I had stored in a plastic bag. Sigh... I did not spritz, just used my mini combs. Had some waste, but not too much. I'm not sure this would work in your case since you have blended fibers. Combing might separate the different lengths. Please let us know what you try, and, hopefully, what works.
Susan in Maine, where it's snowing again http://www.elegantknitter.com Yarg, I hate when this happens. I have a bunny blend - wool, silk, angora - that has felted after years of storage. It's not a total loss, I can sort of pick it apart and draft If I spritz it with... maybe one of those silicone-containing hair frizz tamers (diluted), will that help it draft? How can I prevent this from happening again? ____________________________________________________________ Refine your culinary schools at a top Culinary program near you. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2131/fc/PnY6rbuqwecHXBsC5w5s7qYFHLH37jxJ5MKDymky5WlwClv8Gd2d1/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
