SIL Philippines has three small research libraries: the main library in Manila,
and two satellite libraries in Nueva Vizcaya province and Bukidnon province
(Mindanao). We specialize in the fields of linguistics, anthropology,
literacy/education, translation/exegesis. Our insurance company has recently
asked us to list the price of books we have purchased in the 55 years of our
work in the Philippines and submit for their approval. Only recent books have
been listed in the computer program. We have SIL staff working in two of the
libraries to gather some of this information for older books, but no one is
available at our SIL Nasuli, Bukidnon, center to do this work. It is not a
complicated task (in fact it is quite boring) but we would prefer someone with
a knowledge of libraries to do it. I estimate the job can be done in one week
(6 or 7 working days, including travel). We need to submit the figures to the
insurer ASAP.manuel
