I'm a physician interested in biomedical journalism. I'd like to know
1) What is "Authority Control," in general and "Author Authority
Control," in particular?
2) What is ISADN proposed by IFLA?
a) when IFLA has proposed it?
b) what's its strenght and limitations?
c) how widely libraries use ISADN?
I tried to find some texts by googling, but what I found was very
difficult to understand (for me) for presence of many jargons. I also
found some basic articles in IFLA Journal, but unfortunately, our
institute does not have access to the full text of the Journal. I
also tried to ask some of our librarians in our university, but they
could not help me. It would be your kind ness, if you please send me
some articles (preferably in PDF format) so that I can reference to
them. Many thanks in advance for your very kind attention.
