is hereby served that the Philippine Association of Academic and Research
Librarians, Inc. will hold it 36th Annual General Assembly on
the 30th of January, 2009, Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at 6th
Floor, The National Library Auditorium, T.M. Kalaw St., Malate, Manila,
with the following agenda:
- Call to order
- Determination of Presence of
Quorum
- Approval of the Minutes of
Last Year’s Annual General Meeting
- Annual Report of the President
- Treasurer’s Report
- Report on the Election of the
Board of Directors for the Year 2009
- Other Business as may
properly be brought before the Meeting
- Adjournment
The
Formal Induction of the new Board and its Officers for 2009 and the Awarding
Ceremonies will proceed immediately after the general meeting or about
10:00 a.m.. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. There is no
registration fee but renewal or application for membership fees for 2009 will
be welcomed. Snacks will be served after the induction.
For

officers/directors. Kindly post a copy of this invitation on your
bulletin board, or inform other librarians of this event. We will greatly
appreciate your sharing this information with others.
