Maybe your school does not have a plantilla for a school librarian position and you are just designated in the library as a librarian...so you are a teacher-librarian....if it is the case, you have nothing to do with it...you will remain to be ranked as a faculty....unless your administration will create a plantilla position for a school librarian...if you are in a public high school, there are really schools that do not have a plantilla position for school librarian....so that the administrator shall assign a teacher who will be designated as a school librarian in order to man the school library...that is why there are teacher-librarians. At present, creaton of plantilla positions are not allowed in the government, so that's it....unless librarian position will be created and you are qualified so you can apply for it... I hope I have shared to you something...
