Received your emails polayn_062(at)yahoo.com, thanks!

Regarding the logo, you can have a JPEG logo at the top and not
display the site title like what I do (in the URL I emailed to you
previoiusly). Mas maganda tingnan ang logo keysa text lang na title.
Mas maganda din ang website na merong more than one color. You may use
one dominant color then use other colors as highlights. Here's how I
did it:

If you have a soft copy of your company logo, you can use it or scan a
logo and save it in your computer;
I created the logo in MSWord then later copied it into MSPaint.
Saved it as JPEG with the following dimensions: 7.11" X 1.20" or 683 X
115 pixels.
Use your company colors in your logo.
If you notice in my library Google site, my logo or banner or header
is a gradient from white at the left to yellow at the right. I have
to do this because the background of our company logo is white and
it'll take time to edit the background color. If you'll also notice,
the yellow of the banner matches exactly the color of the Site Header
Background Color (yellow).
I use an online hexadecimal color chart from
http://www.2createawebsite.com/build/hex-colors.html
to pick the exact hex code for a color.
After you made your logo for your site banner, follow the following
steps (hierarchical):
   Sign in to your account
Click More Actions at top right
   Click Site Appearance
            Click Site Layout
                  Click Header
                       Click Custom logo radio button
                              Click Ok
                  Then click Site Layout
Click Use Logo Size radio button
Unclick No Header (it will not display
the title of your website and will only show your beautiful logo.
            Go to Colors and Fonts
Change Site Header background color to your liking
Change Site Header background image (the logo you
made)
                            Click Use Theme Default Value
    Save

There is a preview so that you will see the changes you made or you
may open your Google Site in another window or tab and refresh it as
you make changes to see if the changes you made is okay for you.

Explore and experiment, you will learn a lot!
