Dear Literacy Advocates, In light of the devastation caused by typhoon Pepeng in Dagupan and other parts of Pangasinan, and also in Regions 1, 2, and CAR, we in the Reading Association of the Philippines (RAP) have decided to postpone the Midyear Demofest originally scheduled on November 12-14, 2009 to January 21-23, 2010. It will still be held in Stadia, in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
As rehabilitation goes on in Ondoy-affected areas, relief operations continue in the northern parts of the country. So even as we give thanks for the lives we still have and the blessings we enjoy, let us also extend a helping hand to those who who have lost a lot. We are hoping for your understanding and support.
