Greetings,

I am a student working on a paper about reading culture among diverse
communities in the Philippines, and I am seeking several librarians to
interview. I am hoping to present this at an international conference,
if my paper is accepted.

I am interested in finding out about the types of communities your
libraries serve and the types of collections and programs your
libraries promote.

I have specific questions ready to facilitate our conversation. I am
open to e-mail, phone (I can call you via Skype), chat, or whatever
format is convenient for you. I am bilingual in English and Tagalog
(informal).

I've introduced myself before, but that was a long time ago; so here's
a little about me: I was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in a
U.N. refugee camp in Bataan, where my parents worked. We immigrated to
the U.S. in the early 1990's. I am now attending graduate school for
my MLIS, and I will start a library fellowship with UC San Diego next
summer. I hope to have a career in academic or research librarianship
that would enable me to collaborate with organizations abroad.

Thank you in advance for any leads or guidance you can offer.
