Hi, Zarah! Glad to be on the Librarians' mailing list! So many interesting news.
On the National Children's Book Day, I noted in the announcement that most of the activities involve short stories and illustrations. I suggest that the PBBY also include activities that will develop greater interest in poetry written for children in all our languages, e.g., readings/recitations from Filipino and foreign authors, by authors and by the children themselves. And more important, teaching and encouraging children on the writing of poetry, bukod sa short stories. cheers, e:D On Wednesday, June 20, 2012 8:15:57 AM UTC+8, zarah wrote: > > Hi friends! > > Attached are two documents encouraging and inviting you, your school, > library and learning community to celebrate the 2012 National Children's > Book Day.
