This might be of interest to to you esp. those with devastated libraries. Ateneo donates academic journals this season December 24, 2013 http://ateneo.edu/ls/news/ls-research-updates/ateneo-donates-academic-journals-season
In this season of giving, Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) is donating journals to libraries of higher education institutions for knowledge and resource sharing. This project of the ADMU Loyola Schools was inspired by the opportunity to help rebuild the devastated libraries in Visayas and Mindanao in collaboration with the Rizal Library and the Philippine Librarians Association Inc. (PLAI). To defray mailing costs, the ADMU Loyola Schools calls on interested librarians in Mega Manila to schedule a pick-up of the journals at the Loyola Heights, Quezon City campus. For libraries in the remote provinces, requests for mailing may be accommodated. As much as the university wants to provide all Philippine institutions with the free journals, supplies are limited and will have to be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis. For more information, contact the Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Creative Works’ Journals Office at +632 426 6001 local 5048 or visit Room 102, Bellarmine Hall, Mondays to Fridays at 8am-12nn and 1-4pm. The office will be open until December 20, 2013 and again on January 6, 2014 onward. Ateneo de Manila University Journals http://journals.ateneo.edu/ STEPHEN B.
