Thanks Ed!  It's cool to have someone able to try scanning the same
image on a bunch of scanners - same operator. ;)

If anyone can, and has a Nikon scanner, please let me know.  I'll have
the exact procedure shortly. I don't think the "supra" films are on sale
in Australia.

Using the "scrub" filter has the effect of reducing grain while
simultaneously reducing dust and scratches.  The defocussing
can be corrected with some unsharp masking.  However, I want
to find out which films show the least grain in the first place. :)
