Getting off the filmscanning topic, but worth saying, I
think:

feeding. Some Epson 3000 printers misbehave in this way, and
some don't. With the Epson 1160 printer this problem is less
prevalent.

As far as 6 ink printers for the Cone system are concerned,
I understand the extra inks have no benefit in output
quality. On the downside, the 6 ink set is available only in
cartridges, not in bulk for use through a continuous inking
system.
