I just released VueScan 7.0.21 for Windows, Linux and
Mac OS 8.x, OS 9.x and OS X. I built two versions for
the Macintosh - one in CFM format (8.x/9.x) and one in
Mach-O format (OS X). The Mach-O version works with
many USB scanners on OS X. If you have a USB scanner
that's supported by VueScan on OS 8.x/9.x, could you let
me know if it works on OS X also?

In addition, if you're using Mac OS 8.x/9.x, you need to
make sure you aren't running CarbonLib 1.3.1 - there's
a bug in CarbonLib 1.3.1 that causes problems. Earlier
versions of CarbonLib work fine with VueScan.

What's new in version 7.0.21

  * Added support for some USB scanners on Mac OS X

  * Miscellaneous small user interface improvements

  * Fixed problem with SprintScan 35 on Linux

Ed Hamrick
