Just a comment: With the popular on-board HPT RAID-chipsets, Seagate
Baracuda IV drives in RAID-0 will result in *lousy* throughput, 1/2 -
1/4 the speed of a single drive. Most likely a buggy caching algorithm
in this specific drive model.
