A while ago a similar competition was set up by a Score user. When Finale
submissions were judged (double blind) the best three the results were
withdrawn quickly with vague references to the results being invalid.

In the course of that competition, I often made the following point:

Quality of output is related almost entirely to operator factors (aesthethic
eye and persistence). Speed of output is related to software features.
Consider that, with enough time and care you could draw, pixel by pixel any
output whatsoever with a simple drawing program. Music scoring software just
makes it easier.

Competition results will inevitably be confounded by uncontrolled variables.
